Greetings from WAMBO
Greeting and Welcome back to WAMBO
Its a pleasure to express my gratitude to Bill Wolsing and the WAMBO committee on this very special event returning to our community after a hiatus due to the pandemic. It has takes many dedicated people year after year to build an event that become well known nationally and internationally. From chair-to-chair and committee-to-committee, this event has grown from being held in the downtown core to encompassing the entire town.
With such dedicated volunteers, this event has grown to be the largest of our community. The BIA, local service groups, vendors, entrants, sponsors and residents all work hard to make our town shine for this amazing annual event. I thank you!
If you are an antique motorboat, firetruck, car or motorcycle enthusiast, a newcomer, a returning visitor or resident, WAMBO has something for everyone. Enjoy the opening ceremonies in Civic Park, the Terry Glover Memorial Cruise on Friday night right through to the interdenominational church service on Sunday.
There are so many things to enjoy; food, live music, antiques, art on the boardwalk and much more. For many of us it is about reuniting longtime connections and this year in particular has been long awaited and will be reflected throughout our beautiful town on the streets of Wallaceburg.
I trust that you will enjoy this wonderful local weekend as much as I do.
Make your way around our beautiful community and enjoy yourself. My husband Tom and I along with our family hope to see you out and about on WAMBO weekend.
Welcome! Welcome Home! Welcome Back! Enjoy! Have Fun! Be Safe!
